The mission of the library media center program is to positively impact student achievement through collaboration, instruction, and utilization of resources for next generation learning.

The MCHS library provides students and staff access to reading materials for both classroom use and personal enjoyment. A variety of current fiction and nonfiction books are available for check-out. Some of our most popular young adult authors and books include:
* Ransom Riggs--Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children series
* James Dashner--Maze Runner series
* Marissa Meyer--Lunar Chronicles series
* Marie Lu--Legend series
* Katie McGarry--Pushing the Limits series
The library also provides students and staff access to a Dell Chromebook computer lab. According to the American Association of School Librarians (AASL) Standards for the 21st Century Learner, "Multiple literacies, including digital, visual, textual, and technological, have now joined information literacy as crucial skills for this century."
